This book is designed for dental hygiene students who need to gain the language and cultural skills to better communicate with Spanish speaking patients.

There are six total units, each unit having multiple chapters. At the start of each chapter you will see the objectives you can use as a benchmark of the language and cultural skills you’ll be learning. The vocabulary and example sentences come with audio recordings so you can hear and practice the pronunciation. Practicing pronunciation by imitation will help  your confidence grow for when you have to speak with a native speaker.

There are written and oral assignments in each chapter you will complete that are designed to help you understand the language and use it. Your class will be supplemented with additional conversation practice.
