Book Title: Case Studies on Modeling Earth Surface Processes

Book Description: This book accompanies the class G318 Processes in the Surface Environment as taught by the author at Portland State University. The book emphasizes quantitative analysis (i.e. modeling) of major geomorphic processes based on basic physics. Each chapter focuses on a specific geomorphic process, drawing on "vignettes," or case studies, contributed by practicing geomorphologists who have worked all around the world.
