Managing Your Time

Time management is one of the most common topics that comes up when experienced students are asked what advice they would share with other students. It makes sense, PSU students lead busy lives with obligations outside of being a successful student.

While time management is a critical skill for all students every term, it’s going to be an especially useful skill to develop this term while many of your daily routines are suspended. Your remote courses may meet remotely during regularly scheduled class times, or your instructor may offer optional alternative times to meet. Your work schedule, children’s or family’s school attendance, and other daily rhythms of life have likely been disrupted, too. These changes make it especially important that you take accountability for your time and make a weekly schedule that works for you.

Student Learning Outcomes
